Interesting Observations

Quantum Graphite: The company has a relatively limited history of insider transactions. Trimboli appears to be a consistent seller versus the other two directors that purchased shares last December.

The $190 million market cap graphite developer operates the Uley 2 Project in South Australia – which is currently exploring financing options. The project has a Stage 1 mine life of 12 years, with a processing plant that’s expected to produce a minimum of 55,000 tonnes of high-purity coarse graphite flake.

Nova Minerals: Nova shares tumbled 29.4% on 11 April to a 3-year low of 32.5 cents. This was in parallel with a resource upgrade, increasing its flagship Estelle Gold Project resource to 9.9 million ounces. The stock was already down around 32% year-to-date in the lead up to the announcement, so sentiment isn’t exactly running too hot for the Alaska-based gold explorer. There have been three insider buys post selloff, the first since September last year, when the stock was trading at around 90 cents.

Stelar Metals: Stelar Metals made its ASX debut on 16 March 2022 after successfully raising $7 million at 20 cents per share. The company operates five early stage projects in South Australia – all of which are located close to heavyweight names like BHP, Oz Minerals and Fortescue. Since listing, the stock has traded between lows of 11 cents and highs of 35 cents, currently trading at 23 cents. In this period, there have only been two director transactions, both of which are buys from Non-executive Chair Stephen Biggins (who also happens to be the Managing Director Of Core Lithium).
