Dr Kirby has more than 40 years of experience. Dr Kirby worked for 16 years in South Africa with Impala Platinum, Rand Mines and then Rustenburg Platinum Mines. In 1992, he moved to Australia and was employed by Minproc Engineers and then Bechtel Corporation, where he had management and technical responsibilities.
