Waypoint REIT Limited (WPR, formerly Viva Energy REIT Limited) is an investment in service station property. Waypoint REIT owns a portfolio of 474 service station and convenience retail properties located in all Australian states and mainland territories. The properties in the portfolio are leased on a long-term basis to Viva Energy Australia Pty Limited, other service station operators and various convenience and fast food store operators. Waypoint REIT has one business and geographic segment because it has only invested in service station properties within Australia. Waypoint REIT's objective is to maximize the long-term income and capital returns from its ownership of the portfolio for the benefit of all security holders.

Mr Brindle has experience in funds management, finance and investment and is currently independent Non-executive Chairman of National Storage REIT. Until 2009, he was an executive with Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC). During his 21 years with QIC, he served in various senior positions including Head of Global Real Estate, where he was responsible for a QIC large global investment portfolio. He was also a long term member of QIC's Investment Strategy Committee. He provides advice to a number of investment institutions on real estate investment and funds management matters. He is a former chairman of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and a former Director of Westfield Retail Trust and Scentre Group. He serves as a member of Risk Management Committee.
