Mr Gillies has over 30 years' experience as company director of ASX listed junior resource companies with resource and mineral exploration, company management, project feasibility, project development, mining, governance and corporate background. Andrew has experience across a range of mineral and resource projects, much of this experience gained throughout Queensland. Andrew listed subsidiaries Cape Alumina Limited and MetroCoal Limited on the ASX in 2009. Andrew was a director of Orion Metals Limited and Planet Metals Limited and he was previously a Director of the Queensland Resources Council (QRC).

He is a Director of the Queensland Resources Council. With experience in the preparation of prospectuses, he has had involvement in the listing of companies in Australia and Canada. He has previously worked with Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen & Co and in Australia in general management, financial reporting and company secretarial positions.
