KEY POINTS
- Ansell drew two director buys a week after its FY26 result, both paying close to the top of the stock's 52-week range.
- IPH and Pexa insiders went the other way and bought into weakness, with four Pexa directors stepping in within two days of a heavy result-day fall.
- The only sell of size came from Genesis Minerals Executive Chair Raleigh Finlayson, who sold down after a strong twelve months for the stock and told the market he has no plans for further sales in the medium term.
Welcome back to the Insider Trades series – a weekly summary of on-market ASX 200 director transactions valued at more than $10,000. The below trades have all taken place between 31 August and 3 September. Directors have up to 5 business days to notify the ASX of their trades.
With reporting season finished and the blackout windows fully cleared, there’s still a considerable amount of director transactions to unpack even though the herd has thinned a little from last week. Three stocks account for nine of the week's buys, and in two of those the directors are buying into the dip rather than out of it.
Ansell insiders buy into strength
Non executive directors Jonas Samuelson and Debra Goodin both bought on 31 August, a week after Ansell delivered its FY26 result on 24 August and the shares rallied 9% on the day. It was Samuelson’s first purchase since joining the company in March.

IPH directors keep buying the dip
IPH’s shares tumbled 11% after reporting its earnings on 20 August and directors have been buying the dip since blackout windows lifted, this being the second consecutive week of insider trades. It is also new CEO Anthony O'Malley’s first transaction in the stock since joining the company at the beginning of July.

Key numbers from FY26 result against consensus:
Revenue up 0.4% to $712.8m vs $728.2m ests (2.1% miss),
Underlying EBITDA down 0.6% to $205.9m vs $212.8m ests (3.2% miss)
Underlying NPATA up 1.7% to $122.7m vs $123.1m ests (0.3% miss)
Total FY26 dividends up 5.5% to 38.5cps vs 37.7cps ests (2.1% beat), final dividend 19.5cps at 30% franked and flat on pcp
There was some modest underlying growth in FY26 when looking deeper at the numbers, with Canada the standout, but ultimately soft filing activity and currency weighed on the group. Macquarie retained its Neutral rating after the result, with Canada the highlight on like-for-like underlying EBITDA up 11.8%, while ANZ fell 7.2% on declining US PCT applications and Asia slipped 1.3% on cost inflation. Corporate cost savings and capital management supported the result, though Macquarie wants an improved filing activity outlook before turning more positive.
Shares in Ansell have dropped a further 5.7% since the result.
Four Pexa directors buy the dip
Pexa reported on 28 August and the shares fell 17.4% on the day, closing within a few cents of their 52-week low. Three directors bought on the next trading day and a fourth followed on 1 September, paying between $6.87 and $7.28 per share.

The result itself was solid, it was the outlook that did the damage. Here are the results against Macquarie’s forecasts:
Group revenue up 7% to $406.9m vs $414.8m ests (1.9% miss)
Group EBITDA up 12% to $151.7m vs $147.0m ests (3.2% beat)
Australia revenue up 8% to $345.6m vs $344.6m ests (in line)
International revenue up 1% to $61.3m vs $70.2m ests (12.7% miss)
FY27 revenue guidance of $385-415m sits 6.7% below ests at the midpoint, with management flagging that Australian transfer volumes softened in July 2026
FY27 EBITDA margin guidance of 31.5-33.5% implies roughly $130m at the midpoint, 10.2% below ests and a step down of about 500bps from FY26
The company expects a double-digit decline in Australian property transfer volumes in FY27, and the state pricing regulator has proposed a 20% cut to regulated revenues.
