Ms Msimang is an executive with more than 20 years of information and communications technology experience. Her professional area of experience is regulation, with a focus on economic and infrastructure regulation, public policy, universal service and access, competition policy, and broadband policy and funding. She is currently Chief Executive Officer of Nozala Women Investments, a female-owned private equity firm that owns and manages a portfolio in the minerals and energy sector as well as industrial and consumer services. Ms Msimang served as a Non-Executive Director at Exxaro Resources Limited, from March 2021 to September 2025, and was a member of the Investment Committee and Risk and Business Resilience Committee. She is a Non-Executive Director of JSE-listed Telkom SA Limited. She also serves on the International Advisory Board of the University of Johannesburg Business School, and the Board of Research ICT Africa. She brings regulatory, public policy and information, communications and technology experience, as well as knowledge and experience across Africa and the Middle East. She has leadership, strategy and risk management skills and regulatory and legal compliance knowledge. She is member of Governance Committee, Risk Committee and Sustainability Committee.
