KEY POINTS

  • The biggest gold drill hits for the week for gold, lithium, copper and nickel

Welcome back to Weekly Big Drill Hits – A curated list of the most intriguing intersections made by ASX-listed explorers.

Unfortunately, it's another quiet week for exploration activity, with very few drill results for commodities outside of gold.

If we've missed any drill results, please feel free to reach out.

Gold

Gold hits
Date range: 20-24 March

These aren't the most exciting drill hits and the top ones like Sihayo (ASX: SIH) and Emmerson Resources (ASX: ERM) are both struggling, down 40-60% in the last 12 months.

Lithium

Lithium hits
Date range: 20-24 March

Things were also quiet on the lithium front, where the sector is experiencing a broad-based selloff amid a slump in lithium prices. Our Big Drill Hits report for March might provide some better perspective for Winsome's results.

Despite the lull, there are a few names that should post some interesting hits over the next month or so. Here are the names that announced drill programs this week:

  • Lithium Energy (ASX: LEL): Commences 10 hole, 5,000m drilling at Solaroz brine project

  • Dart Mining (ASX: DTM): Kicks of 3,000m of diamond drilling at Dorchap Lithium project

  • Atlantic Lithium (ASX: A11): Two programs planned for two separate Lithium projects

  • Patriot Battery Metals (ASX: PMT): Has logged 37 drill hole samples

Copper

Copper Hits
Date range: 20-24 March

Nickel
