Key Points

  • Emerald Resources hits significant gold mineralisation at its two growth projects, North Laverton and Okvau
  • Spartan Resources, one of the best performing gold explorers last year, kicks off 2024 with a 114g/t gold hit
  • Santana Resources closes out infill drilling with thick high-grade intercepts ahead of a revised Mineral Resource Estimate

Welcome back to Big Drill Hits – A curated list of the most intriguing intersections made by ASX-listed gold explorers between 22 and 25 January 2024.

Gold prices are on track to finish the week down 0.6% as Fed rate cut expectations continue to get pushed out into later this year. The market is currently expecting the first rate cut to take place in May instead of March.
