HIGHLIGHTS

  • Production at Chillagoe to commence later this year
  • R3D are targeting the third quarter to start producing copper sulphate

Dr Stephen Bartrop:

I'm thrilled to be able to put out the announcement on where we are with our refurbishment plans with the copper sulphate project. This project is on their Tartana mining leases near Chillagoe in Northern Queensland. We're still expecting production to commence later this year.

We're really targeting the third quarter to start producing copper sulphate. We have a number of potential off takers. It's an exciting time for R3D, and this certainly complements our strategy of being a self-funded explorer and as you'll have seen from our announcement two weeks ago, we have a number of very exciting projects that we want to start ramping up the expiration activities. And of course, this is expected to commence next month.
