Mr Pearce has more than 25 years' experience as a director of public companies and more than 40 years of financial and commercial experience in the mining, oil and gas, and utilities industries. He has held a range of roles including Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Anglo American plc, a position he held for close to seven years. He also served as Group CFO and Executive Director of Fortescue Metals Group Limited, CFO of Alinta Energy, and as a Director and Strategic Advisor to the Wyllie Group. He is also a Non-Executive Director at BAE Systems plc, where he is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee (Chair until May 2026) and Nominations Committee. In August 2025, he was appointed as a Trustee of the SAS Resources Fund. He brings global experience with resources, finance, commercial and operational experience over more than 40 years in mining, oil and gas, and utilities. He is skilled in finance, strategy and capital projects. He is member of Risk committee and chair of Governance Committee.
