After leaving Groote, Simon co-founded West Rock Resources Ltd where he held the position of Managing Director until the company was acquired by Boab Metals Ltd in 2013. As Managing Director of West Rock, he secured and operated joint ventures and strategic alliances with mid and top tier miners.
