Philip Chronican

Mr Chronican has experience in strategic, financial and management. He was responsible for the Retail and Commercial business of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) in Australia. Prior to joining ANZ, Mr Chronican had a long career at Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac), including the roles of Group CFO of Westpac and Group Executive of its institutional business consecutively. He also served as NAB Interim Group CEO from March to November 2019. Philip also has broad experience in M&A activity and post-merger integration and has taken an active and public role in advocating for greater transparency and ethics in banking and promoting workforce diversity. He is Chair of Risk Committee and also a member of Finance Committee.
