Mr Wright has over 30 years of project delivery and executive leadership across mining, infrastructure, energy, environment, utilities and telecommunications, together with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Michael is currently Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer (since 2021) of Thiess Group, a global mining services provider. He also servers as a Director of the Minerals Council of Australia, Chair of the International River Foundation Board, a member of Birdon's Advisory Board, and sits on the Strategic Advisory Board of University of Queensland's Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology.
