Mark Lochtenberg

Mr Lochtenberg has been involved in the coal industry for more than 30 years. He was formerly Executive Chairman and founding Managing Director of ASX-listed Baralaba Coal Company Limited (formerly Cockatoo Coal Limited). He also served as co-head of Glencore International AG's worldwide coal division, overseeing trading activities that included identification, due diligence, negotiation, acquisition and aggregation of the coal project portfolio that became Xstrata Coal. Before that, he worked in coal trading and marketing roles for Bain Refco (Deutsche Bank), Hansen Neuerburg AG and Peko Wallsend Limited.
