Lynda Burnett

Mrs Burnett has over 35 years' experience in mining companies, including executive roles at Newmont, Sipa Resources, and Summit Resources. She was Director Exploration Australia and Manager Exploration Business Development at Newmont, responsible for the strategic planning, management and oversight of all generative and brownfields exploration projects in the Asia Pacific region. She has served on the UWA Centre for Exploration Targeting Advisory Board. Mrs Burnett is a member of the Risk, Safety, Environment and Community Committee and the Diversity Committee, where she was appointed the Chair on 1 December 2025.
