Ms Gaines is an experienced and strategic policy director, having previously worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Premier of Western Australia. She was a leader in the development of the WA Recovery Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to this position, Ms Gaines served as Branch Assistant Secretary for the Community and Public Sector Union/Civil Service Association for over 10 years. She is a Member of the Technical & Sustainability Committee and Member of the Governance Committee.
