Mr Olsen is a global executive and non-executive director with over 30 years experience across the mining, chemicals and industrial manufacturing sectors. During his executive career, Jeff was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Boart Longyear (formerly ASX:BLY) from 2016 to 2024, after first joining as Chief Financial Officer in 2014. Prior to joining Boart Longyear, Jeff spent eighteen years at Rio Tinto in the United States and United Kingdom in a range of senior executive and finance positions in its copper and industrial minerals businesses and at the group level. He served as Chief Commercial Officer of Rio Tinto Iron & Titanium, Chief Financial Officer of Rio Tinto Minerals and Chief Financial Officer of Rio Tinto Borax. Jeff resides in the US and is currently a Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Savage Companies (an industrial services company in the US and Canada) and a Director at Signature Products Group, a privately owned US company. Jeff has previously been a director of Rio Tinto Richards Bay Minerals, Rio Tinto Diamonds and Eurallumina.
