James Moulder

Mr Moulder is the Chairman of the Markets and Risk Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. He has governance experience having held a number of non-executive Board and Advisory Board positions within the electricity and carbon industries. Prior to joining the Genesis Board he Chaired a number of New Zealand Electricity Authority Advisory Groups and also advised the Singaporean Government on the development of electricity hedge trading markets. He has held executive leadership positions with Mercury Energy (then Mighty River Power), including leading its retail, trading and generation groups. More recently he has been involved in the development of carbon and environmental markets in Asia as a co-founder of Tasman Environmental Markets.
