Mr Chipchase joined the company at the beginning of January 2017 as Chief Executive Officer Designate and became Chief Executive Officer on 20 February 2017. Prior to Brambles, Graham was Chief Executive Officer of Rexam plc from 2010 to June 2016. Graham had first joined Rexam in 2003 as Group Finance Director before moving to Group Director of Plastic Packaging. Graham was a Non-Executive Director of AstraZeneca plc from 2012 until 2021, including being Chair of its Remuneration Committee from 2015 to 2020 and Senior Independent Director from 2019 to 2021.
