Douglas McKay

Mr McKay brings business leadership and commercial experience, as the former CEO of manufacturing and distribution businesses such as Lion Nathan, Carter Holt Harvey, Goodman Fielder, Sealord, and Independent Liquor, and as the inaugural CEO of the amalgamated Auckland Council. Doug is the Chair of Bank of New Zealand, a director (and Chair elect) of Vector, IAG New Zealand and National Australia Bank. Doug's previous governance experience includes directorships in Ryman Healthcare, Eden Park Trust, Genesis Energy, and other New Zealand companies. He is Chair of the Safety, Health, Environment and Sustainability Committee, Member of the Risk Committee.
