Mr Lamont is member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee. David is a Chief Financial Officer and business leader, with more than 30 years' experience in a range of roles with organisations, including BHP, CSL and Orica. David was BHP's CFO from 2020 to 2024. He also held the positions of CFO and Executive Director at Minerals and Metals Group and previously served as CFO for several other multinational public companies, including OZ Minerals Limited, PaperlinX Limited and Incitec Pivot Limited. David has experience in capital management, project risk assessment, cost management and debt/ capital markets. Other listed company directorships (past three years) include Director, APA Group (from 2024). He is Board of Management, Epworth Medical Foundation (from 2026). President, Financial Executives Institute of Australia (Director 2013-2024, President from 2025). Director, Geelong Cats Foundation (from 2021).
