Mr Clarke brings to the Board strategic, financial and management experience accumulated over his career in investment banking, funds management, property and retail banking. Mr Clarke was Chief Executive Officer of Investec Bank (Australia) Limited from 2009 to 2013. Prior to joining Investec Bank, Mr Clarke was the CEO of Allco Finance Group and a Director of AMP Limited, following five years at Westpac Banking Corporation, where he held a number of senior roles, including Chief Executive of BT Financial Group. He was previously employed at Lend Lease Corporation Limited, where he was an Executive Director and Chief Executive of MLC Limited, and prior to this was Chief Executive Officer of Lloyds Merchant Bank in London. Mr Clarke's board experience spans 20 years, and he is currently the Chair of Fisher Funds Management Limited and Resolution Life Australasia Limited. Mr Clarke's previous Board appointments also include Charter Hall Group between April 2014 and November 2024 (where he was Chair from November 2014) and AUB Group between February 2014 and October 2024 (where he was Chair from November 2015). Mr Clarke is a member of the Supervision Committee and the People and Culture Committee.
