Ms Kay has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services sector in executive and non-executive roles. Carolyn was a lawyer and banker whose work history included Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and Linklaters & Paines in London, New York and Australia. She has held several industries related non-executive director roles including The Future Fund, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Treasury Corporation of Victoria, Victorian Funds Management Corporation and Colonial State Bank. Carolyn has been and remains a non-executive director of enterprises across a range of industries. She was previously a Guardian of Australia's sovereign fund, The Future Fund (2015 to 2023) and a panel member of the Commonwealth Retirement Income Review (2019 to 2020). In the public sector, Carolyn is a member of the Foreign Investment Review Board and in the not-for profit sector, she is on the board of the General Sir John Monash Foundation and Sydney Grammar School. She is a Member of the Board's Risk & Compliance and Governance Committees.
