ASX 200 futures are trading 102 points lower, as of 8:20 am AEST.

Stocks are going to open lower today after the US jobs report missed economists' expectations. The 142,000 figure was well below the median expectation of 165,000. Even though the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.2% for technical reasons, investors were still left spooked by the real possibility the Fed will start cutting rates one meeting too late. Another reason stocks will also trade lower is that CSL, among others, will trade ex-dividend today.

Let's dive in.

Note: Today’s Morning Wrap will be brief as Kerry is away.
