Askari Metals (ASX: AS2) has identified “several significant and high-priority exploration targets” at the Yarrie Lithium Project in WA.

Recent early-stage exploration activities such as geological reconnaissance and modelling have identified several geological structures that are conducive of lithium mineralisation. 

The early-stage activities will support a ground-based field exploration program, due to commence in April.

While the Yarrie Project is close to several major lithium projects owned by names including Pilbara Minerals (ASX: PLS), Mineral Resources (ASX: MIN) and Global Lithium Resources (ASX: GL1) - the Yarrie tenanted area itself has not been subject to any historical lithium exploration.
