Mr Howarth has a background in the banking and finance industry, having held executive positions in government, regional and major banks as well as building societies and stockbroking companies. He has based industry experience from his time as President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Australian International Chamber of Commerce, as well as Chair of Catholic Health Australia. He is also a Trustee of the University of Notre Dame, Australia. He is a Member of the Risk Committee.
