Thomas Tom Stepien

Mr Stepien has over 30 years of global high technology management, operations, and engineering experience at both small and large companies. He is currently the President and a Director of Amprius Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: AMPX), a position he has held since May 2025. He served as CEO and Board Chair of South 8 Technologies, a next-generation lithium-ion battery company, from August 2023 to March 2025. From December 2020 to November 2023, he was an Operating Partner at KCK Group, a venture and private equity investment firm. Tom served as CEO and Director of Primus Power Corporation from 2009 to 2020 and has been President and Director of its successor, Primus Power Solutions, Inc., since 2021. Prior to co-founding Primus, he was a Vice President at semiconductor equipment manufacturer Applied Materials. Tom is a co-inventor on numerous patents and is a frequent speaker at energy conferences. He brings an international perspective, having led diverse teams in several countries.
