Mr Stepien has over 30 years of global high technology management, operations and engineering experience at small and large companies. He is currently CEO of QM Power, an electric motor company. He is also an Operating Partner at KCK Investment Group, a venture and private equity investment firm. Tom serves as Director of Primus Power Solutions, a battery energy storage company and was its CEO from 2009 to 2020. Prior to co-founding Primus, he was a VP at semiconductor equipment manufacturer Applied Materials. Tom earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a co-inventor on patents, and a frequent speaker at energy conferences. He brings an international perspective, having led diverse teams in several countries.
