Susan Pond

Dr Pond has scientific and commercial background, having held executive positions in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry for 12 years, including as Chairman and Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Research Pty Limited (2003 to 2009). Dr Pond has held many Board positions such as: Non-Executive Director and Chairman of AusBiotech Limited (2006 to 2008); Director of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) (2010 to 2014); Board member of Innovation Australia (2012 to 2015); and Vice President of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) (2010 to 2015). She is Chair of Risk, Corporate Governance and R&D and Innovation Committees.
