Robert Nicholson

Mr Nicholson is an experienced company director with a career spanning energy, infrastructure, funds management and industrial sectors. He brings expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate restructuring and greenfield project development, with experience operating across Australia and key Asian markets including China, Singapore, Korea and Japan. Mr Nicholson is currently Chairman of Alinta Energy and a Non-Executive Director of defence and space technology and systems provider, Electro Optic Systems, the European Australian Business Council and the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. Mr Nicholson was also previously Chairman of law firm Freehills and is a Senior Advisor with Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. Mr Nicholson is a member of the Risk Committee and of the Safety and Sustainability Committee.
