Mr Anthon practised in corporate, mining and resources law for over 30 years. He has advised on numerous acquisitions, joint ventures, and debt and capital raisings both in Australia and overseas. Additionally, he has acted as non-executive director and chairman for several public resource companies over the last 30 years and has chaired audit and remuneration committees for those companies. Mr Anthon was most recently General Counsel and Global Director for Corporate Development for Allkem Ltd, (previously Orocobre Limited) Australia's lithium producer for 9 years nine years when it grew from a market capitalization of $350 million to $9 billion prior to its merger with Livent Corporation in 2023 to form Arcadium Ltd.
