Ms Haagsma is a senior executive with a depth of transformation, media, and telecommunications experience. She is currently Chief Product & Technology Officer of Nine. Rebecca joined Nine in July 2022 from Telstra, where she had held several senior executive roles over a period of over six years, between February 2016 and July 2022. During her time at Telstra, Rebecca was Executive Director across the telco's global strategic partnerships and led the devices portfolio, and prior to that, had executive accountability for the telco's activities and shareholdings across sports and entertainment businesses, including Foxtel, AFL and NRL interests.
