Ms Downes has experience in international banking, finance and capital markets, with broad industry knowledge across financial services, technology, infrastructure and property. Her previous executive roles include Managing Director and Equity Partner at Goldman Sachs JB Were. She currently serves on the boards of Virgin Australia Holdings and Australian Technology Innovators and is a member of the Australian Super Investment Committee and the ASIC Consultative Panel. She was previously a Director of Zip Co Limited, ALE Property Group, Windlab Limited, ASX Clearing and Settlement Companies, and Sydney Olympic Park Authority, and a former Panel Member of the ASX Appeals Tribunal. He is a chair of Risk & Sustainability Committee and Member of the People & Culture Committee.
