Mr Barnes has been a Director of Metcash Limited since 2005, serving as its Chairman since 2010, and was a Director of its predecessor from 1999 to 2005. Mr Barnes served as a Director of Ansell Limited from 2001 to 2012 and as its Chairman from 2005 to 2012. Mr Barnes served in various senior management positions in the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia at Philip Morris International Inc. from 1971 to 1998, including as President of Philip Morris Asia Inc. Mr Barnes brings to the Board of Directors the leadership, operational and financial skills gained in his several roles at Philip Morris, as well as through his service as a Director at a number of private and public companies, including his service as Chairman of several of these companies.
