Paul Lennon

Mr Lennon served as the 42nd Premier of Tasmania (2004-2008) and brings knowledge of industry, He also served as the state's Treasurer (2004-2006), the Minister for Infrastructure, Energy and Resources (1998-2002), and Minister for Economic Development, Energy and Resources (2002-2004) while was the Deputy Premier of Tasmania from 1998-2004. Aside from this ministerial experience, Mr Lennon has previously held positions working for and representing trade organisations and workers throughout the 1980's. This experience allowed Mr Lennon to lead negotiations with European, UK, American and Chinese companies in commercial matters of state and national significance. In 2015, Mr Lennon was awarded Officer of the Order of Australia in recognition of his role in developing major infrastructure and enhancing economic diversification.
