Mr Kopejtka has over 30 years' leadership experience in the Australian and international resources sector. His early career was focused on gold projects across Australia, Indonesia, Turkey, Ghana and Kazakhstan. Mr Kopejtka has held senior executive and board positions across a range of listed mining and resources companies. He was a founding director and Executive Chairman of Murchison Metals Limited, where he developed the Jack Hills Iron Ore Stage 1 mine, and subsequently served as Executive Chairman of Ascot Resources Limited. He also served as Managing Director and CEO of Alliance Mining Commodities Limited, where he led the development and eventual sale of the Koumbia bauxite project in Guinea, West Africa. Mr Kopejtka currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Alliance Nickel Limited (ASX: AXN). He brings experience in project development, operations, corporate strategy and capital markets.
