Mr Hampson has been in the mining industry for more than 35 years. During this time he has held positions within asset management, exploration, business improvement, logistics, marketing, and human resources. Mr Hampson is a shareholder and principal of the Cloonmore group of companies that provide mining and engineering services. An experienced 6 Sigma Master Black Belt, Mr Hampson has worked throughout the Asia Pacific region and delivered on a spectrum of projects. Mr Hampson's management responsibility at Rio Tinto encompassed the entire asset life cycle for mobile equipment through capital planning, procurement, delivery, operate, maintain and disposal.
