Mr Veverka was in the development of the e commerce software that is the foundation of the various Jumbo operations. Mike was the original founder of subsidiary Squirrel Software Technologies Pty Ltd in 1995 when development of the software began. Mike also established Internet Service Provider in Queensland which operated for three years before being sold.
