Mr Issenberg is an experienced executive and director with over 40 years' experience in the hotel and casino industries. Michael is currently Chairman of Tourism Australia, Director of TFE Hotels, and he is a Lifetime Member of Tourism & Transport Forum Australia and the Cornell Hotel Society. He held executive roles with AccorHotels for 25 years, most recently as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AccorHotels Asia Pacific. He previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Mirvac Hotels, following a career at Westin Hotels and Resorts, Laventhol & Horwath, and Horwath & Horwath Services Pty Limited in San Francisco and Sydney. He is Chair of the Culture, People Committee, Member of the Safer Gambling, Governance and Ethics Committee.
