Mr Chaney is currently Chairman of Wesfarmers Limited and was previously Chairman of Woodside Petroleum Limited, Chairman of National Australia Bank, and Chairman of the National School Resourcing Board. He is also a former director of both BHP Limited and the Centre for Independent Studies and was the Managing Director of Wesfarmers from 1992 to 2005. He is former Chancellor of The University of Western Australia and former Governor of the Forrest Research Foundation. External listed directorships include Chair of Wesfarmers Limited. He is member of People and Culture Committee.
