Mark Harvey

Mr Harvey has more than 40 years of experience in agriculture and agribusiness. He started his agribusiness journey managing a 10,000 acre family farm producing seed, grain crops, wool, lamb and beef, from 1976 until 1991. He was one of the founders of Paramount Seeds which is in research, development and marketing of new field crops until sold to Elders Ltd in 1996. While with Elders, Mr Harvey was manager of their national and international seed business from 1996 until 2001. In 2002, he was one of the founding partners of Seed Genetics International which is currently a researcher, producer and marketer of genetics and seed worldwide from Australia. In April 2013, Seed Genetics was sold to S&W Seed Co, a NASDAQ listed company based in Sacramento California which is US genetics and speciality seed company. He sits on the University of Adelaide, Waite Institute Advisory Board and is involved in community activities. He is member of Risk Committee and Proposed Merger Due Diligence Committee.
