Mark Cooksey

Dr Cooksey is experienced engineer with more than 25 years' experience in process improvement and process development leadership positions with Rio Tinto, GE and CSIRO. Mark has direct experience in aluminium smelting, commencing his career as an engineer at Comalco (now Rio Tinto Alcan) where he led process improvement initiatives at the aluminium smelter operations in Gladstone and New Zealand. Dr Cooksey also has knowledge of the commercialisation process for new technologies, serving several roles, including Senior Principal Research Leader, at the CSIRO for approximately 16 years.
