Mark Cooksey

Dr Cooksey has more than 25 years of experience in process improvement and process development leadership positions with Rio Tinto, GE and CSIRO. Mark has direct experience in aluminum smelting, commencing his career as an engineer at Comalco (now Rio Tinto Alcan) where he led process improvement initiatives at the aluminium smelter operations in Gladstone and New Zealand. Dr Cooksey also has knowledge of the commercialization process for new technologies, serving several roles, including Senior Principal Research Leader at the CSIRO for approximately 16 years.
