Mr Mota is currently the Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO of Mota Engil Group, bringing experience in the construction, engineering and mining sector. He joined the Group's Board of Directors in February 2016 as CEO for Africa and subsequently assumed cumulatively the role of CEO for Mota-Engil Europe in March 2019. In June 2021, he became Chief Business Development Officer of the Group, and subsequently Deputy CEO of Mota-Engil Group.In his role in Mota-Engil, Manuel Mota serves as Chairman for Mota-Engil Africa, and Executive Chairman for Latin America, among other and cumulatively to his role as Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO of Mota-Engil Group.
