Mr Lawlor was appointed Alternate Director to Mr Monaghan effective 9 April 2018. Mr Lawlor had previously been appointed director and Chair of the Audit Committee on 10 May 2016. He is currently the Finance Director - Commercial at News Corp Australia. Mr Lawlor joined News Corp Australia in April 2004 and has held a number of roles in the Finance function over that period. In his current role, Mr Lawlor has responsibility for commercial finance for all News Corp Australia publishing assets. Mr Lawlor holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master's degree in Business Studies from University College Dublin in Ireland. He has been a qualified accountant for more than 20 years and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
