Mr Rumble is a member of the Sustainability Committee. He joined Richards Bay Minerals (at that time, a joint venture between BHP and the Rio Tinto Group) in 1980, working in smelting and metallurgy, and held various management positions before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 1996. Prior to that appointment, Mr Rumble spent just under three years with Rio Tinto's iron and titanium business as Director of International Sales and Marketing. With his tenure as an executive leader in the resources industry, Mr Rumble brings knowledge and experience in mining and smelting operations.
