Katherine Kate Farrar

Ms Farrar was appointed as Brighter Super's Chief Executive Officer in April 2018. Ms Farrar has led the growth of Brighter Super from $10B with 70,000 members to now almost $36B with 280,000 members through the merger of LGIAsuper and Energy Super and the industry first acquisition of retail fund Suncorp Super in FY21. Ms Farrar has 35 years' experience in roles across the finance and energy sectors. Her previous roles include Managing Director of business energy retailer QEnergy, Chief Operating Officer at Ergon Energy Retail, and senior positions at Morgans Stockbroking, Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Suncorp Investment Management. Prior to joining Brighter Super, she was a Junior Partner (equivalent) at McKinsey & Company. She is member of the Risk Committee and member of the Independent & Related Party Committee.
