Mr Jose Antonio Merino has over 15 years of experience in business development and M&A transactions in the natural resources sector. Mr Merino holds various advisory roles and is also a Partner of iLiMarkets, an advisory firm specializing in the lithium industry. Mr Merino has also previously led the business development and M&A unit of SQM, one of the world's largest lithium producers, where he oversaw several M&A transactions involving world-class deposits, including the acquisition of a 50 percent stake in the Mount Holland project in Western Australia and the divestment of SQM's stake in the Argentinean brine deposit CauchariOlaroz to Ganfeng.
