John Prendergast

Dr. Prendergast is Non-Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Palatin Technologies developing targeted therapeutics for the treatment of diseases with significant unmet medical need and Executive Chairman of Angis Bio, a privately held company focused on developing new small format protein drug conjugates for cancer. He was previously Lead Director of Nighthawk Biosciences, Inc., a publicly traded, clinical stage immunomodulatory company, a cofounder and member of the board of the life science companies, Avigen, AVAX Technologies, MediciNova Inc and a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute for the Biotechnology of Infectious Diseases (IBID) at the University of Technology Sydney, now called the ithree Institute. Prior to that he was a Managing Director of The Castle Group Ltd., a New York medical venture capital firm. During his career, he has been responsible for the approval of three (3) New Drug Applications.
