Dr Mulcahy is Chairman of Orix Australia Corporation Limited, an unlisted public company (appointed March 2016). He is also a current Non-Executive Director of Zurich Australia Insurance subsidiaries and GWA Group Limited. John was previously a director and Chairman of both Mirvac Group Limited (November 2009 - December 2022), Coffey International Limited (September 2009 - January 2016). He is a former Guardian of the Future Fund of Australia and former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Suncorp-Metway Limited. Prior to Suncorp, John held several senior executive roles at the Commonwealth Bank and Lend Lease Corporation. He is a member of the Sustainability & Innovation Committee.
