Jeremy Ellis

Mr Ellis has mining and manufacturing experience both in Australia and overseas. He joined BHP in 1967 and rose through the Company's management structure to become the CEO of BHP Minerals, then Chairing the Company from 1997 to 1999. In addition, he was also the director of ANZ Banking Group for 10 years. He has served on the board of several listed companies and governing bodies including Newcrest Mining, Aurora Gold, the International Copper Association, the International Council on Metals and the Environment, and the American Mining Congress and was on the advisory board of Anglo Coal Australia.
