Mr Stausholm brings strategic and commercial expertise and governance experience. He is committed to building trust with communities, building a strong workplace culture, and to continuously improving operational performance while delivering attractive returns to shareholders. Jakob joined Rio Tinto in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 20 years of experience, primarily in senior finance roles at Maersk Group and Royal Dutch Shell plc, including in capital-intensive, long-cycle businesses, as well as in innovative technology and supply chain optimization. He was also a Non-Executive Director of Woodside Petroleum and Statoil (now Equinor).
